The page can save your selected currency, price unit and recent quote in your browser’s local storage so the controls remain useful on your next visit and a previous quote can be labeled as cached if a refresh fails. These values stay in that browser unless you clear its site data. The calculator runs locally in your browser; this build does not ask for your name, account credentials or payment details.

Live market data

When you open the live-price page, your browser requests quote and daily-history data from Corgano’s API. That service may receive standard technical information needed to make the request, such as your IP address and browser request details. Review the provider’s API documentation for details about its feed and usage terms.

Approximate location

The homepage can request an approximate city, country and country code for display by sending a request from your browser to IPWhois.io’s IP geolocation service. The provider receives the public IP address making that request. The site uses the returned city and country in the page heading, and selects INR for India or USD for other locations. It does not request precise GPS coordinates or save the detected location. IP-based location can be inaccurate, especially when using a VPN, proxy, mobile network or corporate connection.
